If you are an artist or an aspiring artist, working in pencil and particularly doing animals, this book is an absolute 'must have'. If I could only have one 'how to' book for pencil techniques, it would be this one.
I've done dog and horse portraits for nearly 40 years and probably read most of the books written about working in graphite and doing animal portraits. I discovered this book two years ago and can only wish it had been published and I'd found it years ago. I've learned many useful techniques from this book that has improved what I'm doing in just the two years since I've had it.
