Mr. Siegal had a caller-interview radio show, Vets and Pets, on WNYC.

He was a founding member of the Cat Writers' Association and president emeritus of the Dog Writers' Association of America (DWAA).

Lots of good info about feeding and health issues to look out for. Specifics about problem behaviors you might see at various ages and good ways to play during each age. Additional section at the end lays out a step by step training program.
