This book is about a young boy who escapes from a tiger and lives, thrives, and survives in a pack of wolves. He has many different adventures. He is taught by Baloo a bear, and he is watched over by Baghera the panther. He gets captured by some monkeys and he is saved by his friends. He befriends Kaa the snake. And he lives in a village attending cows for a time.
This book was excellent. I love what Rudyard Kipling writes, because he always writes so well. His stories about Mowgli are very captivating. He is also very descriptive in his writing.
I would share these stories with my children, because they are excellently done, and they teach some good life-long lessons.
