PAST IMPERFECT is the story of a woman with plans for the future. Five years after an almost fatal crash, Diana (a successful writer and a pilot) sets off to show Adrian Cahill that they were always meant to be together. She's learned so much in those five years, changed. The surgeries changed her. She changed her identitiy. Time and the loss of love have perhaps changed her most of all. Adrian didn't see what he had the first time around. She is determined not to let it get past him this time. ...more

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my review, and overall I enjoyed it.

It's the story of a young woman Lynn, who uses the circumstances of a serious car accident and plastic surgery to reinvent herself. Her plan is to use her beauty for some serious game-playing to seduce an old boyfriend Adrian, and bring him up to snuff. It becomes her overwhelming obsession.

To add to the suspense and romance she makes a new friend, Logan, during her rehabilitation; a handsome and mys

I read Past Imperfect while flying to El Paso, which I think was fitting, given the subject matter of this book. Just like the plane ride, I found this book to be high flying and breezy.

It's a good read, and a clever concept: Diana (l suspect the author chose this name deliberately, for the Roman goddess of the hunt, and if so, I love that) has rebuilt her life and literally become a new woman after a near fatal-crash. Although she has overcome incredible odds to forge a stronger present than h

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my review.

First and foremost, this is NOT really a romance novel; it reads more like a mystery or suspense.

Diana was in a nasty car crash that disfigured her face. After having surgery, she buys a cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania and spends several years there recovering. Diana is an avid aviator and writes horror novels for a living. She's obsessed with her former boyfriend {if you can really call him that} and sets out to win

This is a story of a woman nearly killed in a car accident, trying to rebuild her life. She is caught in a love triangle. Does she go for the man she loved and lost before her accident or the brooding handyman who helped her rebuild her cabin home?

I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy of this book in order to review it. I enjoyed this. It was a lovely romance. There was just enough twists and turns to keep it going. I identified with the characters and they seemed very real to me.

This was 171 pages I'll never get back. I felt like the story was disjointed, and out of order. I would not recommend this book to read.
