This is a wonderful book! The first few pages were a little difficult due to the style writing. However, quickly the qualities of the story got me. Science fiction with an environmental touch. But never in a dogmatic way. Instead it's up to the reader what to do with it.
None of the usual lesbian clichees are found here. Wonderful.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. it was recommended to me by a fellow goodreads friend. I am glad they did. Aside for some annoying info dumping in parts, the book was well written, the characters well rounded with good development, and the pace good. This is an excellent little bit of multidimensional sci-fi that is thought provoking and introspective. A good read.

The concept was good, I thought but the execution was rough. Of course, I read the online version and not the published so the issues may have been dealt with.

We will be discussing this story on episode 22 of Cocktail Hour. www.cocktailhour.c-spot.net.

The "message" is good but probably driven home too heavy-handedly.

This was a wonderful book to read especially as it highlights the environmental issues. It's woman to woman sexual relationship was also very understated. I'd describe the book as a blend of sci-fi - futuristic and while it shows heavy bias for issues pertaining the environment it passed the message without creating disinterest.
