This is a book about falling in love with the true essence of a geographical area--its sights, smells, and sounds. The author's passion for fly fishing provides a rich, lyrical backdrop for his beautifully crafted observations.
I met Norm Zeigler when he came to Wurzburg Germany. We had a wonderful conversation and it led to me buying his book. He writes like a friend telling tales by the fireside, which make this book a smooth and very easy read. Though I have no interest in taking up fly fishing it is very easy to see why Norm loves it so much. He tell his story without getting to technical or sentimental and it was a wonderful tale. I'm glad we met and I am even more glad that I bought the book.
