This is one of the best reference books that I own. It functions not unlike a dictionary, providing a quick and remarkably accurate overview. The approach is especially beneficial when seeking comparative information.

Additional reference resources are frequently included, making it easy to locate in-depth information.

The book has been indispensable when I've needed a quick "bring me up to speed" reference for an unfamiliar religion. I've learned that there is a great deal of spiritual wisdom throughout the world's religions.
