The First Full Moon received 5 Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews!
"Ms. Gordon has written an incredible tale incorporating stories about mythical beings, ghosts and a mystery that grips the reader from the start. Necalli is a fascinating character full of mystery and emotions that are both human and alien at the same time. It was sad to learn about Adam's past, but beautiful to watch as Adam finally starts to come out of his shell as he begins to place his trust in Necalli. The growing tru

I really wanted to like this story. Well, I always want to like every story I read but this one had such a promising concept with a historical feel dashed with some enticing paranormal possibilities. Although this lengthy story had some highlights and potential, unfortunately the focus on the sexual relationship between the men and inconsistent characterization overwhelmed the potential and ultimately delivered an uninteresting story. Perhaps in a contemporary setting without the added responsib ...more
All I can say is that there is nothing I didn't like about this story except for Suzie (she's just annoying :). The main characters, Adam and Necalli are both great characters, as well as Adam's friends and family (supporting cast). The premise was very intesresting... and not something I was expecting.

I read this book for the M/M Quarterly Yaoi challenge, which is new this year. This is the second book by Christie Gordon and I'm going to make sure to read more of her writings. I do enjoy this

I really enjoyed this book. I found it an intriguing story, at times haunting and emotional. I fell in love with both Adam and Necalli right away and enjoyed watching their relationship develop. Necalli was absolutely adorable! As sad as Adam’s story was, my heart just broke for Necalli when his story finally pieced together. What a wonderful little mystery he was! Very original story.

A decent read, but I get lost a little bit when the pace of the story slows down.
