Shawn Weston is about to find out just how true it is. To get out of the hole he has dug for himself, see how far he will go to get out. T

An interesting array of characters you will have to read about make way in this uniquely blended story. This contemporary/urban-fiction has spicy sex scenes, thoughtful dialogue, and a few secrets along the way. A must-read!

Living in the Moment

Shawn Weston has an insatiable appetite for Kanjia. From the moment he laid eyes on her exquisite beauty, he knew he had to have her mind, body and soul. Through the drama and the pain Shawn will fight for the woman that he loves.

“There’s No Tomorrow, Only Today” is a great piece of work. The erotica is so vivid to the imagination and it flowed so well. My attention was knee deep in the story. Jaree Francis brings originality and creativity back to the forefront.

It was difficult for me to rate this novel. First of all I was really enjoying this book until about halfway through when a certain revelation took the wind out of my sails.
I don't want to spoil any of the plot but I will say the plot takes a turn after keeping me on the edge about the mysterious Kanjia from the first pages, but the direction the plot takes as her secrets are revealed made me enjoy the second half less. Many will not feel this way but for me it was a deal breaker.
I also felt confused at times with the varying points of views within a single chapter and think some things were left to the reader's subjectiveness. So I gave it only 4 stars.

The author is obviously very talented and has the ability to develop multiple plots and layered characters. The plot was very unique to me and I was surprised by the direction the book took.
