Full of facts and details. Surprisingly, this was in the kid's books section, but they cover topics like murder and crime with deft, complexity, and honesty that even an adult like me can appreciate it. Covers topics about both the science behind the forensics as well as some true crimes. Might not be recommended for younger or sensitive readers.

24/7 science behind the scenes forensic files bullet proof by Jamie Joyce was a book made to inform and teach the reader that you can find a lot from a bullet or a gun. The problem that was identified in the book was that criminals leave many clues behind when using a guns nd they don't realize it . The book was explaining what goes down at a crime scene and how they find who shot the gun. From this book I learned how to solve a case when there is a shooting because the gun can leave powder after shooting the gun. This topic is very interesting to me because me and my mom watch crime shows every day and acctully after reading this book I understood them much more.

After reading this book , I have learned a lot about what the steps were to finding out crime scence that involved a shooting. The style of writting if this book was very easy to under stand and it gave egnough detail.I didn't have any complaint about this book I enjoyed it is had different fonts for different reasons it had many highlightings where needed.Book though it factual it had a couple little story's to help the reader understand how cases are solved when involved with a shooting. I do not regret reading this book because now when u watch crime shows I understand them more.

& up . The reason why I would not recommend it for anyone younger is cause just invade kids get scared.However I think that this is a book that anyone who likes crime and crime shows could read because it helps people understand the prodded to finding who did the crime.

The book "bullet proof" by jamie joyce isn't rely a story, since it's a factual book with facts about forensic science and how modern technology can help police find criminals faster, so if your the kinda guy who likes to basically read a story, this is not the book for you. However if you are someone interested in book regarding forensics or finding the criminal with bullet shells or a bullet, this is the book for you, however, this book is very specific into forensics with bullets as the main subject, so you won't ring much information about forensics including finger prints or blood stains. Still, in the part of forensics of bullets, this book does a very good job, so if your a guy who knows about the basics of forensic science but want to go deeper, and learn about specific lines matching with specific guns, then you should read this book, since it i very detailed. This book is composed of 3 sections, the introduction part, which includes basic vocabulary of forensic science and about how scientists look at a bullet shell and can find the specific gun just by looking a lines on the shell, or how the bullet tells which kind of gun it was fired from. The second part talks about how this method is used in the real world, by giving real world situations that has happened, and last, it concludes by wrapping all the information up. So, if your a guy or girl looking for a book only on real facts and true things, then this is the book for you.

A brief yet informative book introducing tweens and teens who are interesting in forensics to the science behind investigating gun-related crimes. The books includes three real-life cases and how evidence from bullets, casings and guns were used to solve the crimes.

Very short book. I read it in two days, but it consicely give you in broad strokes information about ballistic forensics. I learned new things such as that bullets spin as they come out of a gun barrel and the unique lines can give away the shooting gun. Overall informative.
