This book was all about the Civil War, and it was hard for me to understand. It was the longest book I've ever read: 251 pages. It has a lot of politics, but the Gettysburg chapter I could understand easily. So, probably for a little old reader than me, I would recommend this book. Probably best for a 7th or 8th grader.
