This book is one of the most recent written on The Chicago Blackhawks, who won the Stanley Cup last year. This book was especially good because it juxtaposed historical information with recent information. I could see how this could be confusing, because the information was not presented in chronological order, but there is a timeline in the back that mentions most of the key points brought up in the book. This title is one of the “Team Spirit” series and covers the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team. It is a stock sports book aimed at middle-grade to secondary readers. The layout is attractive and sure to catch the attention of even reluctant readers. There is ample information about the hockey team, from its early history to modern day play and championships.
