I personally felt that too many of the stories in this book, due to their writing style, came across as melodramatic in a way that hindered my suspension of disbelief, to the point where I couldn't find them relatable, which undermined the book's inspirational message.
Did I like it? Not as much as I expected to, given the book's topic.
Would I reread it? No.
Would I recommend it? I feel there are better reading options out there. I've read other stories in a similar vein that I found far more powerful and moving.
