Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.

Every other year I do the Gideons International bible reading calendar, https://www2.gideons.org/read-the-bible, where you read a short bit every day, and at the end of the year you will have read the whole Bible. This is about the fifth time I have done it, and I read a different translation each time.
My mom got me this when I was a kid, the intended audience, and decided I should finally honor her gift and read it in its entirety.
