This is a book I started a while ago and then recently picked back up. If you are looking to live more sustainably, or even just to understand the options and what that means, this is an excellent primer on learning to do just that. The book does not beat you over the head about going green. It provides background across all aspects of your life and what options are available for greening your life. If you are not the DIY environmentalist, don't worry, this book touches on that, but over all it gives you the information to start with greening your life, with whatever aspect you choose. It also outlines how the pros and cons of certain choices to allow you to make a more informed decision.

The book was not preachy, or condescending. For those who are new and want to learn, this is the place to start. For those who have started down the path, this is a good resource as well. I know I learned some things I did not know.

At this point a few items, websites mainly, it refers to are dated. But the rest of the information holds true, but it could do with a refresh.

Really good book if you care about living green. Covers all topics with plenty of reference sites. Had to keep my iTouch handy to look up things. Glad I am already using apps for sites.

Recap of everything I've been reading, but I liked the format of this book better than most. Easy bulletin points to skim through.
