This was a very straight-forward book that had a lot of good do-it-yourself info in it. If I was a little more handy and my room had been a bit closer to square I would have considered installing the flooring we needed myself armed with this book.
Plenty of info was provided about many different flooring types - ceramic tiles, wood, concrete, and also installing radiant heating. Some day I would like to have radiant heating in my house and this provided a much better understanding of the system than any book I've run across so far.
