This is a cute, simple, well-laid-out book. I feel like it helped me understand the enneagram better, even though I'm still not 100% clear about where I fit into it personally. It offers some perspectives that I haven't encountered before, such as a list of things each type would "never" do. The illustrations add a clever dimension to the presentation of this information.

Very interesting! Super easy and quick to read but still gives you a great overview of the enneagram and helps place you on it. Also gives you tips for areas you may struggle in based on your type. Made more sense to me than the Myers-Briggs ever has. I want to read a more detailed book on the enneagram now.

Quick read. Lots of illustrations. Pretty basic book with not a ton of depth or science behind it. A good way to get another perspective and potential weaknesses/blind spots for yourself to improve though.

I thought this was an excellent, concise, readable treatment of the enneagram. the drawings add levity and sass to what could otherwise be a very dry subject.

It may seem counterintuitive that a book with so many cartoons could be on the money on personality types and communication pitfalls, but in fact, this book is wonderful. As a follower of the Enneagram for 2-3 years now, I have been to lots of classes and have enjoyed lots of appropriate books and discussion, and this book nails it every time. I recommend highly for self discovery and learning about others.

This book holds true to the title. It's a quick and easy read, but it's still full of comprehensive information. This book is perfect for anyone wanting to get started on understanding the Enneagram.

Enneagram Made Easy Book Review
By Renee Baron & Elizabeth Wagele
“The universal formula to every unique personality.”

Through witty humor and simplistic cartoons, Renee Baron and Elizabeth Wagele introduces the theory of the Enneagram through the book “Enneagram Made Easy”, published by HarperCollins in 1994. While receiving an average rating of 3.9/5 from other reviewers, this book was credited for its outstanding attempt for diving into the complex field of psychology. Compared to other Enn

I decided that over my vacation, I was finally going to learn about the enneagram. I started with The Essential Enneagram but found the system of "choose the paragraph that best describes you" to be a bit vague. This book was a bit more thorough in its descriptions. Each enneagram has a corresponding chapter, which starts with a 20 question survey with questions related to that type. The book never says this but I assume you take the little quiz and see for which type you answer "yes" to the mos ...more

Buku ini memang tergolong tipis utk menjelaskan k ...more

I was hoping for some more in depth information, but I suppose that was my fault. It's the enneagram made easy, it's going to give the basics.
It was helpful in determining my type though.

If you are going to read one book about the enneagram this book is not a bad place to start. You will blow through it in under an hour as it's mostly cartoons and easy to read lists, with pithy phrases and Harvard Reivew-worthy bullets. Which does not mean I did not deepen my understanding of the system. I did!

One thing I had never encountered before was a section in each of the types called: "What X would never dream of doing." Under the "Eight" type was written: "remove profanity from daily la

Aptly titled. This book is an engaging, accessible introduction to the enneagram, complete with charming cartoons that illustrate the differences between the types. A checklist to help you find your type is included at the beginning of each chapter. If you know your mbti/myers briggs type, there is a section at the end that takes a brief look at how the enneagram type can be affected by mbti type. I didn't like that they used the dichotomy approach to mbti rather than the cognitive function appr ...more

I've just recently gotten in to the Enneagram stuff and happened to come cross this book as I was sorting through donations at a used bookstore...needless to say, I quickly snatched it up!

Interesting but kind of breezy. I'm somewhat disappointed because after you read your type and the bits at the beginning/end of the book it suddenly becomes pretty uninteresting.

But I can't really fault the book for that- it's clearly an overview of the types- it's not meant to get too deep into any of them...a
