WHAT I THINK There are never enough clean and wholesome books for children. Anything from bedtime stories to stories that lessons can be learned in a fun way. This book, Danny the Dragon is a book that children can learn about an important lesson on taking care of their teeth. It's a delightful, fun way for children to learn and have fun while doing it. The story is so cute with the dragon that has a big smile. It is illustrated by Alex Bjelica and the pictures are bright and go along with the lesson. Danny, the dragon is told step by step in six steps how to go about flossing his teeth to get rid of the plaque. This is a book that children can go back to and re-read to continue to remember to floss. Every child needs a fun way to learn about how to keep themselves healthy.
I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily decided to review it.
Danny is a dragon - not the usual type of dragon that is causing all sorts of trouble in other story books. He is a very friendly and helpful dragon. One day a salesman comes in to town and sells the folk living in the town, an apparatus that they could use to light their own fires, candles etc. This meant that Danny would not longer be needed by everyone. Robbers noticing that there was no longer any danger in the town and cause major mayhem and mischief. Danny hears their cries and comes to rescue them all from these robbers. A lovely story and super illustrations.
Danny the Dragon is an online book that is made for young readers. Although it is an e-book it does not have the interactive feature that may make other online books different from regular books. Danny the Dragon is about a dragon that loses his fire breathing abilities until he met a monster who gave him hot chilies to get his abilities back. This book is a short read and is semi engaging to the reader.
A cute little tail of how the villagers of a town found out what to do with the magic fire sticks. But that made Danny the Dragon very sad because the villagers didn't need him anymore. Or so they thought, when danger comes to the town they are saved by Danny.
