I bought this book when I bought the Baby Babble videos. I always told myself I wouldn't be one of those "worry warts" about their kids, but well, everyone's looks got to me. It was nice to read through these activities and realize "wow, I'm not a crummy mom after all!" :) Many of the activities are common sense, but some of them I didn't think of doing as a mom, but knew I did with my sisters as a kid. Sometimes it's hard to remember to just PLAY and TALK with your kids, you know? Anyway, it was a nice book and I'm sure someone could pick up some good activities. I think it may have been more helpful to me earlier in my "child rearing" days, because it really guides you with some ideas to incorporate into your routine instead of using the trial and error method that worked for me.
