Oil and Water is almost entirely sex and travel. To stay ahead of the men Morgan’s father hires to rein him in—usually against his will—Max and Morgan take their mobile sex feast off to Brazil, and then Italy. But that brings the keepers too close and Max has to figure out how to bring the man he thinks of as the love of his life back to his own home in rural Oklahoma.

I will be honest, I got bored of this story. The writing is a ton of sentence fragments and the

Oil and water are two substances that do not mix well – and neither do oilman Max and multimillionaire’s son Morgan. Well, at least they shouldn’t at first glance. Once they meet it turns out they have much in common – a love of adventure, slightly crazy ideas about what risks are acceptable, and a passionate attraction for each other that has them tumbling into bed at every opportunity. And believe me, they find quite a few “excuses” for sensual explorations!

This was different from what I’m used to reading. The writing style is very distinct, bringing to mind stream of consciousness a bit. It’s a well-written story, but the pace was a tad too slow and meandering for me.

Our main characters, Max and Morgan, hit it off almost instantly and spend the biggest part of the book happily making out on what seems like one long extended vacation, going to various exotic locations. Money is no object for either man, so no pesky roadblocks from something like re

I received a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads

This was a fun fast read. Max and Morgan hit it off instantly and go on what seems like one huge non-stop vacation. Money was no object and sex filled the pages. While the story was enjoyable and I liked Max and Morgan I couldn't connect or relate to them because everything was outlandish to me. If you enjoy this author you'll enjoy this book.

Oil and Water by author B.A. Tortuga starts off The Wildcatters series. This is a fast-paced romance that I loved reading.
Oilman Max inherits a house in England and a lot of money. He is laid back and really nice person.
Morgan is carefree born rich. Free-spirited and full of mischief and laughter.
They each have what the other needs to be a whole. I liked that about them. I also liked how they were really good friends. The sex is steaming hot but their connection as friends really kept me reading

Max is an oilman that inherits his boss’s company and estate. He is having a drink in a pub in England where the estate is when a jingling man darts behind him hiding in the corner.
I liked Max. He is the level headed one of the two. But I loved Morgan, flashy and pierced and knows what he likes. He is very footloose and fancy free. The two are different as oil and water but are the perfect blend.
The story is mostly hot sex with lots of awesome destinations. I love these authors descriptions. I
