I loved this. It's well-written, tightly-plotted and I like the characters. The intrigue works well, and this reads like one of those short western novels that I bought as a kid. Much great observed detail- Veinglory takes the time to get the right word, the right expression, and it all felt realistic and believable. No weepy men, no nonsense, and a surprise resolution to the very serious issues raised here.

It's my first book by Veinglory, but certainly not my last. One of the authors that know

I really loved the writing. the relation between those two could really be felt. But the end was too quick.

If you’re anything like me, you may be more familiar with Emily Veinglory as the author of the EREC blog, which keeps up to date in erotic romance industry news. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. The characters made no sense, the plot didn't stand up to any kind of scrutiny, and I wasn't impressed with the sex scenes.
