Lonely Planet’s Experience Tokyo travel guide reveals exciting new ways to explore this iconic destination with one-of-a-kind adventures at every turn. Devour sushi for breakfast at Toyosu Mar
I like how this is organized by neighborhood rather than by type of experience, so that you can cluster your experiences and plan each day based on what's nearby. Very useful. The commentary is interesting and the full-color photos are great. Made me excited for my upcoming trip to Japan.
A small compact book filled with fantastic detail about different areas to experience in Tokyo. A variety of experiences and sights are listed and instructions to get there are easy to understand. Lots of colourful images add to the enjoyment.
A great help for planning our future trip to Tokyo. Handy maps included for rail and street layouts. Will save the purchase price within the first day.
Normally, I would read a book like this with a pile of sticky tabs to mark all the things that I want to see and do.. but it's hard to get excited about planning a trip to Japan/Tokyo at the moment with so many restrictions in place. That is not the books fault, that's all me (and COVID has something to do with it!)
But this is still packed with information, hints and tips about your travel and exploring different areas of this amazing city. There is even a map in the back to help you out as well. The book is well laid out with it's information which is hugely helpful.
Will probably pick this up again, when planning my next trip.
