Yikes! Good read, understandable conclusions. Interesting if you're on the subject. The whole premise is getting harder and harder to deny. read it and others like it, it matters.

I have read Thomas Horn's writings before and am an avid fan of this researcher, writer and a revealer of masked truths. Mr. Horn effectively and surgically tackles the belief of an Occult Elite that has been in millennium-long preparation for a reborn pagan deity which will rule over a final earthly empire. The people behind this movement are the Illuminati (and its lesser fraternities) and traditional/historical Free Masons whose fingerprints are on many surviving ancient structures and architectural design. Mr. Horn also points to the basis of our country's freedom tenets and founding fathers for more evidence of this secret society's plans for the near future. The author does contend that the hidden Masonic messages and symbolism found throughout Washington D.C. indicate a clear connection between ancient prophecies, mythical beliefs of the ancients (Egyptians, Inca, Aztecs, Greeks and Romans. He also contends that the reason for this is the return or rebirth of an ancient order of demi-gods and one man-god leader. The author identifies the leader of this movement/secret society as the biblical Antichrist/man-god - Apollo/Osiris/Marduk/Nimrod. Mr. Horn dissects recent and current world events relating to U.S. domestic and foreign policy, technological advancements, a renewed focus on the Middle East, a renewed interest in ancient myths and a belief in a Creator of the Universe (COTY) to indicate that there is a basis and proof of this movement. He is very persuasive and sound in his assertions and beliefs. This is a sound piece of research and historical/social analysis.
As a Christian and a student of eschatology, I agree with many of his arguments. Like Mr. Horn belief that a great change has begun to turn its final curve. Thomas Horn is correct to contend that a New World Order is very near - just look at the current news and recent events like the pope's intended resignation, the recent election results, the increased violence and the social decay of our world.

MORE FAILED ’PROPHETIC’ SPECULATIONS BY THE SKYWATCH FOUNDER
Thomas Horn (1957-2023) was the Founder of SkyWatch TV, Defender Publishing, and Whispering Ponies Ranch. This book was published in 2009.
Controversially, the Preface by Christian J. Pinto asserts, “Many Christians are repeatedly told by … church leaders that America was founded as a Christian nation… The problem arises when one marks the foundation of our country… all Bible-believing Christians should be very wary, since the working of occult societies during this era was at an unprecedented height… If there ever was a man utterly ruined and spoiled by vain philosophies, it was surely Thomas Jefferson. Along with Thomas Paine, he was America’s greatest deceiver and antichrist---if you judge him according to the Scriptures… Ben Franklin was, without question, deeply involved in Freemasonry and in other secret societies… beyond his generally moral character and the fact that he went to church regularly, there is no other proof that [George Washington] was a believer… Rev. James Abercrombie, who … ministered to Washington for years… arrived at the following conclusion… ‘Washington was a Deist.’ … David Barton … attempts to call early Masonry a ‘Christian’ organization…. He creates this argument in an attempt to justify the involvement of men like George Washington and others in early American Masonry… When critics like David Barton or the History Channel … blame the ‘conspiracy theorists’ for passing on misinformation, they are either ignorant or deliberately withholding information.”
Thomas Horn outlines, “in this book, the startling truths behind the clandestine society that helped frame the United States and placed within the Great Seal a prophetic secret can finally be understood. What even the best researchers … were never able to fully decipher is spelled out herein for the first time. The power at work behind global affairs and why current planetary powers are hurriedly aligning for a ‘new order from chaos’ is exposed… readers will learn how ancient prophets actually foresaw and warned of this time.” (Pg. 30-31)
He contends that President George W. Bush “set in motion the rules for cosmic game play as defined in the sacred texts of all major religions, including the Bible.” (Pg. 39) Later, he adds, “Forebodingly, the end of Bush’s second term witnessed such civil clamor for renewed ‘hope’ amidst widespread messianic fervor surrounding the election of … Barack Hussein Obama. Bush’s … administration was indeed prophetic in that it accomplished exactly what elite occultists wanted: … universal entreaty for an inspirational and political demigod---a savior---to arise on the global scene promising a New World Order.” (Pg. 41)
He notes, “it is necessary for the temple to be rebuilt… A major obstacle that arises … is the present-day existence of the Islamic … Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, and issue that may also be resolved in Bible prophecy… earthquakes … [may] utterly destroy the Islamic shrines at any point in time… Such a catastrophic event could … provide a catalyst for rebuilding Solomon’s temple… It is also entirely possible that … war, with its missiles and bombs, could take out the Islamic shrines in a single hour…” (Pg. 62-63) He summarizes, “Whether or not circumstances will be sufficient to build the new temple before America elects its next president in 2012, what started in 2001 may well have laid the foundation upon which the Man of Sin shall reign.” (Pg. 64)
He asserts, “Regardless of how fantastic it seems, a thorough examination of the events happening on and following 9/11 affirm what linguistic specialists and semioticians I consulted called ‘persuasive evidence of an open conspiracy,’ or… ‘an undeniable occult signature linked to 9/11.’ … The phone number called during the emergency (9-1-1)… matches the date on which the Twin Towers were attacked. But in occult numerology, the number eleven means much more than this. It … represents a ‘dark vision.’ When doubled to twenty-two… the vision is combined with ACTION. When tripled to thirty-three … it means VISION and ACTION… Is it therefore mere coincidence that exactly ELEVEN years to the date following George H.W. Bush’s ‘New World Order’ speech (and ELEVEN years before 2012…) Flight 11 crashed into the Twin Towers, whose appearance side by side ... architecturally depicted the number ELEVEN?” (Pg. 72)
He summarizes, “beyond view of the world’s uninitiated members, the alchemy and rituals of the occult masters---Illuminists, Masons, Bonesmen, Bilderbergers, and Bohemians---have combined to harmonize so completely within recent U.S. foreign and domestic policies as to clearly point to … a near-future horizon upon which a leader of indescribable brutality will appear… the world is readied … for a political savior to arise now with a plan to deliver mankind from upheaval.” (Pg. 88)
He admits, “when writing this book, it was difficult to resist the temptation to compile at length and names, dates, and organizations that form the goals of the ruling elite. Having accumulated thousands of pages of research material concerning … Illuminatus subgroups... In the end, I determined that enough of this type of material is already available… and that this book would be better served in raising awareness … by showing that behind the matrix of illusion—which most citizens receive as reality---is an arena of evil supernaturalism…” (Pg. 91)
He asks, “Will Obama become the superhuman superstar the world has been waiting for?... there certainly were plenty of religious folks … who thought …that at least he was a forerunner of ‘The One.’” (Pg. 97) Later, he adds, “Does… Islamic prophecy identify Obama as the ‘promised warrior’ who comes to help the Shiite Muslims conquer the world?... Barack Hussein Obama on June 4 [2009] gave an unprecedented speech to the Muslim world … declaring that he was launching a new era between the United States and the Muslim world. For the first time, Obama was forthright about his Muslim heritage and stated that the United States is … 'no longer a Christian nation’ [and] is now ‘one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.’” (Pg. 107)
He explains, “When [Genesis 6:4] is compared with other ancient texts, including Enoch… it unfolds to some that the giants of the Old Testament, such as Goliath, were the part-human, part-animal, part-angelic offspring of a supernatural interruption into the divine under the natural evolution of the species.” (Pg. 182) He goes on, “imagine the staggering implications … if dead nephilim tissue was discovered with intact DNA and a government somewhere was willing to clone or mingle the extracted organisms to make Homo-nephilim… making clonable material from dead biblical giants feasible.” (Pg. 208)
He recounts, “Recently on a business trip … I met with two current members of the Scottish Rite Freemasonry (whose names I cannot reveal), who have unrestricted access to all but the most secret and highest documents of the Order. I joined them at The House of the Temple, the headquarters building … While both men were very helpful and informative, they were evasive whenever I probed too deeply into certain areas…” (Pg. 241-242) Later, he thanks Mason David Ovason “for inadvertently revealing what the Illuminatus has secretly known for ages---that the Great Seal of the United States is a pagan prophecy and petition to a pagan god… to assist in the conclusion of the great work of his return.” (Pg. 254)
He speculates, “the year 2012, being three and one-half years before the Masonic ending date 2016, could thus be viewed as the beginning of the Tribulation period. However, a more disturbing scenario … is that 2016 represents the END, not the middle… which would mean the hear 2012 would actually be the ‘midst of the week’ and the reign of Antichrist would have started mid-2009…” (Pg. 267) He continues, “In what could be a related fact, June 21, 2016, is exactly three and one-half years after the Mayan ending date of December 21, 2012…” (Pg. 269)
He also notes that ex-priest Malachi Martin “was a close personal friend of Pope Paul VI… Martin had privileged information pertaining to secretive church and world issues… he had become increasingly candid about what he said was pedophilic Satanism among certain cardinals and other clergy in league with a secret Masonic diabolicus that began… on June, 29, 1963…” (Pg. 328-329)
Well, you get the picture. 2012 and 2016 have come and gone, Obama is no longer President, nor is Trump (who Horn believed was divinely-appointed); the COVID shutdown is over, and no one is being forced to take vaccines. Horn wrote later books changing his dates to 2025 and 2029, but I would expect these predictions to be no more accurate than those he made in this book.

If you are just starting to research things of this nature, this may or may not be the best first book to pick up. Horn assumes the reader knows a lot of the material he is covering already. Assumed also is a good understanding of OT Biblical history and prophesy. Nonetheless, I found this book such a pleasant read and very confirming in many aspects of my own research. His bibliography in the back serves as a great platform to dig into your own research as well. Also, definitely pick up a copy of Rob Skiba's Babylon Rising: And The First Shall Be Last (Volume 1) It covers a little of what Apollyon Rising covers and much more! Anyway, Horn has a great book here it's worth anyone's time if they are serious truth seeker, are awake, and are seeking more answers. A must read for every Christian about the truth of the origins of this country, and where we are headed in the future.

I must say, this book is definately one of the better books that I have read lately. It is FULL of incredibly important information. It is also well written, descriptive, and full of details that every person should know.
It is apparent that the author has researched many detrimental topics and has taken the time to write it all down and share this information with others.
I will keep this book on my bookshelf and keep it for a future re-read.
I am also looking forward to purchasing other books written by Thomas Horn. This was the first book that I have read by him and I eagerly and enthusiastically looking for others.

This book is based a lot on the possibility of the world ending in 2012 because of the Mayan calendar. It was written in 2009 so 2012 has came and went. However there are some interesting ideas about changes in 2016. There is no way for us to determine the end times, I truly believe, as in the Bible, Jesus said, "No one knows the day or the time, not the Son or the angels in Heaven, only the Father knows." It is always to be prepared as it is said that the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Good study ideas to learn about what is going on these days, what some of the monuments, etc. in Washington have to do with the Mason's and other worthwhile information.
