Starts a little slow and turns into a good story about animal habitats and how what's best for one person (or critter) isn't the same for all.

I enjoyed this bilingual picture book about Pearl the Squirrel- the illustrations are cartoony and fun, and the message is a good one.

This Tumblebook ingeniously moves the illustrations to bring the characters and setting to life. The story is reassuring for little ones moving to a new house.

This is a sweet tale about a squirrel and her friends, part of the Solomon Raven series by this author/illustrator team. Pearl learns about different types of homes and discovers that she is happiest in her own home.
