To be honest, there's nothing I enjoy more than getting fucked by Goodreads. But maybe that's just me.

Straightforward information, commonsense approach; best for people who are still in love and sexually attracted to their partners.

Let’s start with the title, Because It Feels Good. Debby Herbenick’s message is so basic, so obvious: sex should be pleasurable. Yet many women—whether in love, out of love, avoiding love or hesitatingly dipping their toes into love—are having sex without pleasure. Whereas sex is increasingly becoming another task on a person’s to-do list; and continues to be a topic enshrouded in shame, guilt, embarrassment and misinformation; Herbenick take us back to the basics, bringing pleasure back into se ...more

Read as part of research for my MS and intimacy book.
Good, easy to read, simple book with many useful suggestions and helpful hints. Well worth a look over if you are missing that little something in your life...
Note: this book is "vanilla" as my sex education friend would say. Not much on the kinky side though some more unusual practices are given mention.

Dan Savage convinced me to read this. I will say that it was well written, technically informative, relatively entertaining, and occasionally thought provoking.

Excellent resource for women wanting to learn more about their sexuality, or how to overcome sexual problems. Easy to read, lots of further resource suggestions.

This book has a lot of good information, but it's really just a 3 star book for my needs. I expected more psychology support, but the book basically covers sex Ed and then sone choice advise.

The first chapter was my favorite and really hit on "new" information for me. The rest of the book is more about the physical side- including the equipment, "supporting" material, and user manual for the body (both male and female, but emphasis on female of course)

This book is really good for those in otherw
