This short book is a collection of the author’s personal thoughts and interpretations about a variety of paradigms. I appreciate any author’s vulnerability and contribution by sharing personal experiences and beliefs. I found several connections with my own, and some from which mine greatly differed. It was a quick, thoughtful read. There were some grammatical issues throughout. I also did not agree with one philosophy suggesting historically abused and oppressed people groups should “get over it.” Maybe there was a better way to word that to convey the core meaning there? Other areas of the book seem to acknowledge the magnitude of such abuse and oppression a little more.

Not at all what I thought it would be. Very disappointing.
