I admit that, within finishing the first chapter of Talking to Adam, I was ready to put it down.
However, I’m glad I didn’t. The main character is extremely annoying within the first few chapters, but you can see an easy contrast between herself from the start to the end. That’s the man basis of a good coming-of-the-age story, so I definitely recommend it to anybody wanting to read something set in modern times.
