While I had to read this for a graduate class, I recommend this book for new school administrators that can have a voice in budget, faculty, & academic programming for schools all in an effort to help close the achievement gap.

This is a great book to read. Especially if you’ve ever been bothered by the presumed acceptance that some schools are just “that way” when it comes to performance.

Increasing equity in resources, programs, and teacher quality is a battle that all should be willing to participate in!

A slow read, but necessary for the understanding of theory-based application in education and building equity in our schools today.

Had to read for a class. Strictly informative for how to do an equity audit in your school. Other than that, not worth reading.
