The bulk of the book addresses the topic of emotional overeating, so I didn't get as much out of it at first because, though that is a problem, it is not my primary problem. But there were enough others tips and helpful perspectives to make this book a worthwhile read nonetheless. I especially apprecitaed the section on thoughts, different kind of guilt and what is good and bad about each, and the section on dealing with setbacks. this book gave me lots to think about, and its very encouraging...also kind of frightening when she details impacts of overweight or obese bodies. I will have to reread this to keep it all fresh in my mind.
