Book Review for Essential Elements For Band
Learning a new instrument can be hard, but the Essential Elements For Band books can help a tremendous amount when it comes to the basics of an instrument.
A new instrument can be tough for someone of any age, but when using the Essential Elements For Band book, it can suddenly become a lot easier. The book has exercises and a wide selection of songs that the learner can play. The book clearly teaches you how to read and understand music. The Essential Elements For Band book is available for most instruments in a standard band. All of the books have the same exercises for each instrument so when you want to play with an ensemble, you can play, because all of the music is transposed to be in their corresponding key. The Books also have a brief history of the instrument as well as composers that have written some of the songs for the book.
In my experience in using the Essential Elements For Band books, I find them to be extremely helpful when it comes to new instruments. I have used them when I was starting out with the rest of the band, and I have continued to use them as I have started to learn more instruments that have an Essential Elements For Band book about them.

Extremely great book, it helped me learn a lot and now has led me to being fairly decent with the trumpet. I play the euphonium now but I will still speak highly of this book, it has even helped me learn how to read different types of music.
I would reccomend this book to anyone interested in learning to play the trumpet, same goes for all the other essential element books.
