New Orleans. Halloween. Ooooo sounds right up my alley and a bit creepy. I do love to get my creep on. BUT, beware of the heat, this is an erotic vampire love story that burns with passion…but for who?
She was at Quillon’s beck and call. He is a vampire and she is a paranormal researcher, so she knows that all the monsters are real and they do walk among us. She lives a solitary life, carrying her B.O.Bs with her when she travels. Are you curious? Okay, I’ll tell you, but just this one thing and that’s it. Battery operated boyfriends
There were no big surprises for me and I don’t read a lot of erotic stories, but this short was just right and hit all my supernatural buttons.

We have a short, spicy, surprising and very sensual read here that really left me wanting more. This is my first time reading any work by Roxanne Rhoads and she’s now officially on my list as a new favorite author. Her writing was so very smooth, descriptive and (I’ll use the word) addicting! Any paranormal, romance or erotic reader with find themselves completely engrossed in Eternal Desire.
Liz Beth is a paranormal researcher who now finds herself in the hottest spot for the paranormal, the one and only New Orleans! What brings her to New Orleans you ask? The hottest, most sensual vampire that’s haunted her dreams for practically her entire life is her reason. But is this vampire real or just a figment of her paranormal imagination that she allows to guide her and protect her in times of need? Well, she gets a bit side tracked when she meets the most delicious male specimen she’s ever encountered and things get beyond hot and out of control.
Christien is a complete mystery to us (as well as to Liz Beth). We know he’s handsome, mysterious, a hard worker and he knows how to take care of a woman in many ways! But is he friend or foe? What are his intentions (other than giving Liz Beth the best intimate times she’s ever experienced) toward Liz Beth in the long run? Christien has secrets that he will reveal, but will we still see him the same in the end?
I have one BIG question… Is there going to be a book 2? I was really left wanting more and have some unanswered questions lingering (constantly) in the back of my mind. That’s actually the only reason why I did not 5 star this baby. It really is worthy of a fiver :)

Lizbeth has spent her life following directions from Quillon, a vampire she has never met, but her grandmother told stories of him to her. Every time a witch or ghost needs help or removal, she will hear him in her head, getting the information needed to complete the task. She took paranormal studies and has met all manner of others, except Quillon. He summons her to New Orleans during Halloween. She meets a mysterious man Charles who beds her immediately. She is torn between the two, even though she has not found hide nor hair of Quillon anywhere. What is she to do?

A fast paced Erotic read, filled with passion, lust and hot sex- it will keep your blood pumping till the very end. The love scenes sensual and tantalizing.. Filled with that perfect about of heat. Characters are well described, and the story a fluent and flowing read from beginning to end. The surroundings were realistic and I could picture them . I have not been to New ORleans but could picture myself drinking in that auroma of coffee and the surroundings. Even the creepy cementaries and goth surroundings very well described.
The book cover ** I realy loved ** this alone drew me in.. I know cover love !! But I was not disspointed in this read !!! For anyone after a quickie erotic read filled with passion, sensual sex and a great story line this is it !!! ALONE ETERNAL DESIRE WIL KEEP YOUR HEART PUMPING TILL THE VERY END !!!!

Today's review is on Eternal Desire by Roxanne Rhoads
Hot, Steamy, and Heavy are just a few words that came to my mind while I was reading this short erotic tale. Set in New Orleans just in time for Halloween, there is nothing but passion for ghosts, vampires, and humans alike.
Though Liz Beth keeps her relationships with men short and oh so sweet, she has always had Quillon. When she was a child, he would talk to her, guide her, and protect her, though she never saw him. Now as an adult, Quillon has added things more carnal in nature. He visit's her in her dreams giving her her most erotic dreams.
When he tells her one evening to travel to New Orleans she does not hesitate. Once there however, she meets Christien, a gorgeous man of God like quality. Though she thinks of Quillon, she can't help but give in to her desire to HAVE Christien whenever and however she can. After all, he is there. She can actually see him and touch him, where with Quillon she cannot.
Candy and treats aren't the only things given out on All Hallows Eve though, surprises are also thrown into the mix. And I don't know about you, but I just love surprises!!
Will Quillon ever come out from the shadows, or will Christien take his place in her head, heart, and ultimately her bed?
A fantastic erotic piece to spice up any rainy day. It certainly did today. Before you read it, just be sure your hunny bunny is close by for some surprises of your own.

For what this is, essentially a series of erotic vignettes, Eternal Desire works as highly charged vampiric erotica. I would have liked a little more show and less tell with the setting (which offers a conscious nod to Anne Rice's New Orleans) but overall the quality of the writing is high.
