Accuracy/Authority/Bias: American Heritage Dictionaries are very well-known and respected.
Arrangement/Presentation:This scientific dictionary is visually appealing with many visual sidebars and highlighted text as well as many tables and charts. Presentation is straight forward and thorough with many cross-references.
Relation to Similar Works: This is not the only dictionary in the collection, but is one of the only ones so specific to science.
Timeliness/Permanence: It could easily fall out of date since it is science based.
Accessibility/Diversity: This source has over 4500 entries and 450 pictures which could be appealing to any student.
Cost: $16.00

Arrangement/Presentation: Arrangement is alphabetical. Included in the 376 page dictionary are definitions, feature notes, graphics, tables and charts, along with pictures and drawings.
Relation to other works: Along with the many other dictionaries available to students, this one focuses on science subject matter and would make a great addition to a school library.
Accessibility/Diversity: The typeface and white space in this book make it appealing to students that might be intimidated by a larger, more scientific dictionary.
