Theme: counting, animals
My thoughts: If you are a Beatrix Potter fan you will love this counting book. It is a delightful book that uses her well-loved characters to practice counting, tell time, learn colors and recite the alphabet.
Activity: Use a felt board or magnetic board pieces to count the characters in each story, or to make up new stories as a story time activity.

I liked the "A" and all the easy parts. I liked the letter "b." I like, "b is for butter."

This book goes through counting, the alphabet, colors, and time. It took my three-year-old and me three sessions to get through it, but we liked it. Fans of Beatrix Potter will probably enjoy it.
