If you are looking for a well written k9 training book for the field, this is it. Robert Eden wrote this with one thing in mind, to teach. It doesn't spend time telling jokes or pointless stories. This book gets to the point. It covers a wide variety of training techniques and situations that a real K9 officer would encounter in the field, such as pulling over a car, entering and searching a house or building, tracking a subject on the run, and many, many more. There really is a plethora of information That Robert Eden goes over. I didn't run into any grammar or spelling mistakes, which makes for a more enjoyable reading.
This is a necessity for any officer who is serious about becoming more efficient, safer, and smarter, in the field. I also recommend this book to any trainer who wants to acquire new techniques and have a broader overall knowledge of the way a dog thinks and learns. This has got to be one of Robert Edens best books.
