Didn't take me very long to read, because I never put it down. Tamara is young and wild and idk if its wrong to love it or be right to hate it ! She is so young but dealing with the most dangerous issues and has the mind of a matured person sometimes. I love Innocent no matter what, and I tried my hardest not to throw the book across my room every time I read some of the racist things said to him and done to him. Kanisha def got what she deserved and I hope there is more to come her way. Overall I thought the book was very good, however, the ending, or the WORST BEST EFFING CLIFFHANGER for the century, really erked me! That is just setting my hopes up that the sequel will be just as good !
Leo Sullivan never fails to write great books. At first I got confused with th storyline. Once I kept reading , and paid attention, it all came together. A definite must read.
"Innocent" was an awesome book! It brought so many different emotions out of me; it made me laugh, sad and angry. Innocent displayed the realization of racism that is displayed everyday. IC Miller (Innocent) was a high school graduate, who earned a scholarship to play basketball at a college in George. His hopes and dreams went down the drain, while driving to Georgia to attend college. He was framed for a murder in a small town in Georgia which caused him to never make it to school and ended up in prison. Tamara, who is the mother of Innocent's son, decides to leave Chicago, move to Georgia and try to make a better life for herself & her son. Ironically, Tamara obtains a job at the same prison in which Innocent is incarcerated. This is where the drama begins and Tamara finds out that her son's father is not in college but in prison. Tamara learns that Innocent, is innocent and decides that she is going to do any and everything that she can to help him get out of this bad situation. While dealing with the news surrounding Innocent, Tamara gets involved in some drama of her own and is now trying to find a way to deal with her own issues as well. Innocent is a must read and will keep you wanting to read more!

First read by this author and definitely won't be the last. Fast paces story that kept me hanging on every page. I don't see how Tamara managed all she had going on though, it seemed a bit much and especially for her young age. My heart bled for Innocent, that part of the book had me heated and praying for the tables to turn. Guess I'll have to read book 2 to see if my prayers were answered. Talk about a cliff hanger, that ending pulled you to the edge and left you swaying trying not to fall, sheesh! I'd definitely recommend this book to others. If you enjoy being pulled in a few different directions and reading about drugs, money, sex, death and survival...then this book won't disappoint!
I really liked this book!!! There was alot of actions going on in more ways then one and it kept me motivated to want to keep on reading. As a maatter of fact it is well written and full of action. it was as if I was watching a movie. Leo, you did your number on this one and I can hardly wait to see what happens with IC's appeal. Not to mention all the TC, Bleu, Pharoah. Keneasha, Tamara or Big Mamma, life in ATL ain't no joke I see..lol
It was a ok read for me, I don't like racial issues even thou it's alive and kicking today, it just pisses me off. I also have a kindle and part 2 is not on kindle so I have to purchase it as a book then order part 3 on kindle. other than that I'm looking forward to reading the other books.
