Wow!!! I thought reading this book around Holloween would be appropriate. Was I ever right!!! A classic and with good reason. The very first chapters are a bit slow but once the story line gets going, no movie could, would, or has ever done it justice!!! If, like me, you and enjoy a great thriller, amazing story line, good character development and unparallel writing, all I can say is: What are you waiting for? Read it! It will be time well spent!
This is a reprint volume of the old Classics Illustrated comics adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. In many ways, it summarises much of the main story in the novel, but simultaneously misses important steps in the narrative (like the narrative frame work and the central intertext of Milton's Paradise Lost).
