It's very hard to cover the plethora of media and tools, from traditional push to modern pull, for both small-business to business and consumer marketing, exhaustively without being boring or formulaic. Ms. Findlay Schenck has pulled it off with finesse and without exhaustion. Just the information you need to choose your marketing weapons and enter the competitive fray.

I read the 2012 3rd edition. I just can't find that one here on Gr. I really enjoyed this book. I'll still have to get a more thorough online marketing book though. I'd love to grab a social marketing textbook from either 2013 or the first edition is from 2012. building good social stats and studies on top of an existing book is where I think this one fell short. it didn't have any, really. just general 'you should do this' kind of suggestions. not much hard data...

It gives you all the basics and then some just like all the other "Dummies" books. They are great for building a base of knowledge for something you know nothing about or to expand on the very little knowledge you may know.
