Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

I listened to an audiobook recording. One of the free classic uploads read by various people. That is always a little annoying, but it gets the job done keeping these antiquated writings alive.
This is a quintessential scientific book about birds. As an amateur birder, I found it detailed and fascinating. I only wished I could have the book to look at for referencing any potential pictures or sketches that may exist for referencing the scientific details regarding wings, feet, head, etc.
