This is a terrific cookbook. Many times we buy a cookbook for one or two specific recipes and either that's all we make or all we like from that particular book. This little book has a plethora of great recipes in it--from simple to complicated. I bought this many years ago, when it was first published and there are probably a dozen recipes that I make regularly and another dozen that I make occasionally. I thought it would be fun to read a cookbook straight through and actually it was more tedious than expected. Very attractive glossy photos though and I marked a few to try later. Basically everything in this looked worth making.

What a wonderful little book. Sophisticated, elegant recipes alongside homey ones, tons of photos, good instructions, and the dishes taste great.
