Cool read for Halloween: includes cd of music, narrative of Tell-tale heart, and spooky sounds; the book glows in the dark too; also includes games; the stories featured are mostly well-known scary stories by Popular authors like Poe, Stoker and Dickens, among others;

Much Halloween fun is packed into this short story collection with accompanying CD. Gruesome and gory tales as well as costume suggestions and party tips will inspire your own spooky creations. Some of these tales may be too scary for young children, being the substance of nightmare-inducing fodder, but older kids will surely try to frighten younger siblings with the telling of them, so be warned! The CD has scary sounds as well as selected stories from the book. If you like to be scared, this book is for you.

This book has some scary stories in it by various authors, crafty ideas for Halloween, Halloween games, etc. Some of the stories are a bit gruesome, not for small children. If you want REALLY SCARY sounds for a spook house or something then the CD inside has what you are looking for. It also has the Adam's Family theme song.

I love reading this book each Halloween! Stories are truly creepy and love the classic authors included. Poems, crafts, and games are written at each end of story. Short stories are easy to get thru, and of a very nice variety. Cover glows in dark, and CD has spooky Halloween sounds. Love!
