Tough to read, he isn't the most eloquent writer.

I already was familiar with several of these patterns, and I feel like he didn't differentiate them well enough.

The case study had some good content, but seemed drawn out and a little forced in places.

The book covers Design Patterns in extensive detail. Although, if you don't read it thoroughly, it might seem a bit confusing at times. Some patterns are going to take while sinking in but apart from that, it's good.
