Taught me how to invert and give nuance to my previous view of organizations. Reference book stuff - replete with case studies and sweeping introductions to organizational perspectives and processes. Focuses more on the corporation and seldom goes beyond other forms of organization. Still, it demonstrates the arguments behind each take on studying organization instead of blatantly stating them: an indispensable quality in a textbook.
