The division of workouts (beginner, intermediate, advanced, and open water) works well. A simple guide to retooling workouts for various skill levels is helpful. For such a small book, it's far more helpful and informative than hours wasted seeking the same information on the internet.

not a training book as i had envisioned but more of a listing of training schedule for swimming. Not good to learn how to work out via swimming
