A decent explaination of why this country became a Republic instead of a Democracy or other type of government. It has a great copy of the U.S. Constitution to include deleted, outdated or revised sections along with the amendments up to the date of the first printing(1918)

Great read on our Republic and how it was conceived. The philosophy if you will of our country's government and why it is considered the best way to govern.
