Collage : A New Approach

Rate this book
This book describes a new technique, developed by the author, which makes it possible to adhere collage elements without liquid adhesives. This technique eliminates wrinkling and drying time from collage-making, offering new opportunities for creative spontaniety. Also included is information on "paperless" transfer of printed and photocopied images, alternatives to adhesives, archival concerns, framing and presentation of finished works, and more.

Good explanation of Jonathan's Talbot's technique of collage using gloss medium and heat. I attended his weekend workshop and wanted to resurrect the technique. Seemed to have lost my copy so this is a replacement.

A great "How-To" book on using acrylic media to make a collage instead of glue. Clear instructions & guidance on supply purchasing. Inspirational.

It's full of information, but lacking in supplemental photos, which would be helpful. I went to his workshop, however, (in which he signed the book for me) and learned so much. He is phenomenal in person.
