This beautifully-written book presents the comforting idea that we as human beings have much more to pass on to our loved ones than mere wealth and possessions. Aside from a great read, this book is actually a vehicle for a profound paradigm shift for the entire human race. The realization that we can capture the essence of who we are in a Legacy of Love for future generations to cherish gives us a deeper sense of meaning and purpose to our lives. Our love, affection, wisdom, guidance, and memor ...more

I can’t remember the last time I dog-eared so many pages. The purpose of the book is to inspire readers to come to terms with the eventuality of their own demise and recognize how loving actions planned well in advance can help your loved ones cope with their loss. I found it to be a worthwhile read with suggestions to ensure, after you are gone, those you leave behind will continue to know you loved them

This was an excellent book and I found it very resourceful. After losing my Father 13 years ago, I wish this book was around then. I plan to share it with all of my family. This is not your typical Psychobabble grief book, the author puts everything into laymen's terms and I really got a lot out of it. This book was a very quick read & definitely a keeper for my permanent library.

This is a gift that lasts a lifetime and beyond! I suggest to anyone of any age- male or female, parent or grandparent, single or not- that this book is a warm, necessary must read. 100% of us die and a good portion of us experience the loss of a loved one in our lifetime. For centuries, death was a part of life, experienced by all family members as natural and expected. Only in the last century did our western society attempt to clean it up, push it aside, and even deny its very existence. Instead of living in the family home, many of us may not even live within driving distance of family and friends who matter most

For anyone who has encountered loss, or anyone who hopes to soften the pain of loss for others someday, I recommend Gemini Adams' book Your Legacy of Love: Realize the Gift in Goodbye. Using her own personal pain as a springboard, Gemini guides her readers through a journey they will never forget, teaching them to create their own Legacies of Love with a supportive and sincere tone.

For many of us in the Western world, the concept of facing our own mortality is a daunting one. Yet Ms. Adams take

This was actually a good book, although I didn't really expect it would be.

It talks through the ways that loved ones, left behind afte the death of a family member, wish they had reminders or momentos. Then it gives suggestions and ideas for providing those reminders, and preparing for the ones left behind.

Not morbid, it is basically a book about love, and how to show it.

Very inspirational and actionable read. It did tend to tiptoe around the word "death" a bit much by referring to it as "it" and "the d-word" all the time. It's a good reminder of what we can do to ease those that are left behind. It's also something we can recommend all our friends and family to do.
