Q texts in Matthean order -- Divergences from the Lukan sequence -- Introduction / James M. Robinson -- Sigla -- The text of Q in Greek and English -- Concordance / John S. Kloppenborg.
James McConkey Robinson (born June 30, 1924) is Professor Emeritus of Religion, Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, California. He is a member of the Jesus Seminar and arguably the most prominent Q and Nag Hammadi library scholar of the 20th century. He is also a major contributor to The International Q Project, acting as an editor for most of their publications. Particularly, he laid the ground for John S. Kloppenborg's foundational work into the compositional history of Q, by arguing its genre as an ancient wisdom collection.
Being one of the earliest (reconstructed) works and a source for two of the synoptic gospels, Q is an enigmatic text which gives us the clearest picture into the teachings of Jesus (PBUH) which is interestingly arranged in a style very similar to that of the much later hadith collections as opposed to the biographical gospels which became the norm within early christianity.
For a honest review in my own words on a book I read. I found this very educational and interesting the knowledge is outstanding . it would be much better as a fiscal book then a Kindle book so you can follow along easier so I plan to do that too.
