Cute book for kids and those who know nothing at all about riding horses, no matter how old. Explains everything very simply and is easy to follow. Has steps on how to do things, with a lot of images that help you visualize them.

This is a decent book for someone taking riding lessons. It covers the basics of a horse, what you should expect in a riding lesson, proper techniques, and correct vocabulary. It has some nice illustrations as well. For me, it was a bit dull to read because it was so informational, though not too difficult for a young person to understand.

A practical, easy to understand guide for prospective and beginner horse back riders. Also works well as a tool for advanced horse back riders to brush up on the basics. Has beautiful pictures, helpful tips and step-by-step guides.
