Wayne Walter Dyer was an American self-help author and a motivational speaker. Dyer earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy, a Master’s degree in Psychology and an Ed.D. in Guidance and Counseling at Wayne State University in 1970. Early in his career, he worked as a high school guidance counselor, and went on to run a successful private therapy practice. He became a popular professor of counselor education at St. John's University, where he was approached by a literary agent to put his ideas into book form. The result was his first book, Your Erroneous Zones (1976), one of the best-selling books of all time, with an estimated 100 million copies sold. This launched Dyer's career as a motivational speaker and self-help author, during which he published 20 more best-selling books and produced a number of popular specials for PBS. Influenced by thinkers such as Abraham H. Maslow and Albert Ellis, Dyer's early work focused on psychological themes such as motivation, self actualization and assertiveness. By the 1990s, the focus of his work had shifted to spirituality. Inspired by Swami Muktananda and New Thought, he promoted themes such as the "power of intention," collaborated with alternative medicine advocate Deepak Chopra on a number of projects, and was a frequent guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

اهميتت تعهد در عمل تا به اين اندازه است كه اگر فرد نسبت به كم اهميت ترين مشكل اجتماع خودش قدم كوچكى بر دارد بهتر از آن است كه نسبت به بزرگترين مشكل بشرى فقط ابراز عقيده كند. اگر عقايد با تعهد و عمل نياميزند،پوچ و بى معنى خواهند بود. انسان متعالى كسى است كه نسبت به سهنان خود متعهد باشد. افرادى كه كلامشان با اعمالشان مطابقت ندارد مجبورند واقعيت ها را تحريف كنند و در بعضى موارد به مبالغه و گزافه گويى بپردازند.
این کتاب مانند بسیاری از کتاب های دیگر در حیطه روانشناسی فرد را دعوت به دوری از احساسات منفی می کند و درصدد آن است که فرد به قدرت اندیشه و تخیل خود واقف شود و بداند که نحوه تفکر او نه تنها بر احوال خودش بلکه بر همه انسان ها تاثیر میگذارد. حقیقتاً محتوای کتاب برای من تکراری بود اما در مجموع چند جمله دلنشین در آن یافتم.
در بانک خیرخواهی پس انداز کنید بی تردید یکی از زیباترین اصول حیات بازتاب رفتار انسان هاست. اگر به هنگام عبور از خیابان آشنایی را می بینید که افسرده و پریشان است با گفتن چند کلمه دلپذیر دلشادش کنید، یقینا بیشتر اوقات با برخوردی خوب و خوشایندی مواجه خواهید شد. اگر به احتمال بسیار کم چنین نشد، قانون حیات می خواهد شما را بیازماید که ایا صرفا نیکی می کنید تا نیکی ببینید یا اصولا چنین شیوه ای را برای زندگی خود انتخاب کرده اید و در همین آزمایش است که بسیاری از مردم نا موفق اند.
This was absolutely excellent. I did not agree with everything he said, but some of the things he said were so what I needed to hear to help me refocus and such a good reminder, I want to hear it again and again. Absolutely excellent.
Turning into a fan of Wayne Dyers work and this audio book/training was no exception.
Excellent and meaningful reminders of the way one should lead his/her life for real inner peace...Especially in todays society of materialistic attitudes and following meaningless tribes due to social engineering and programming.
This will teach you how to simply..at the very least get in touch with your true self and humanity again, and so much more that my short review wont do it justice, bottom line , highly recommended

I liked listening to this on my commute to and from work each day. It helps to keep me in a positive frame of mind. I liked Dr. Dyer's discussion of "ducks" and the "duck pond", though at times I feel he oversimplified things. Or maybe I think too much. I also had a difficult time with parts where he chastised people for "hanging on" to their illnesses, like his son with asthma whom he said was attached to his condition. I think positivity has amazing powers to heal, but at the same time I don't think you can allieviate asthma just by not wanting to have it. Overall, a good little audio cd which I may revisit in the future.
Dyer is amazing and his CD's inspire me to be better in my life. I keep his CD's in my car and randomly listen to them for encouragement and inspiration...This is one of those! Love his stuff!
