As the winds howl and the ark rocks heavily on the waves, the fearful animals aboard fight and moan and complain and groan, leaving it up to the sparrow, mouse, and spider to put the fears of the mightiest creatures to rest so that all can get some sleep.

Listened to half the book and then only looked at pictures for the second half. I was able to find bird and mouse when asked in Chinese!

Read this while at the library and wouldn't even read it aloud to my girls. It is decidedly not aligned with the biblical account, especially seeing that man and animals were still herbivores prior to the Flood.

2 1/2 stars. I liked the pictures. They were very nicely done. The story was rather blah. And it kinda bothered me that the book wasn't so much about the storm ride as about the animals learning to not eat each other. And there isn't much explanation about what the meat eaters ate instead. Noah basically just makes 1-2 cameo appearances.
